Welcome to FolderX. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of all FolderX virtual reality (“VR”) games, experiences, and related materials (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using any FolderX game or experience, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.

1. About FolderX

FolderX is an organization that creates community-sculpted VR games — projects built collaboratively with players to expand the creative possibilities of virtual reality.

Our Services are designed to foster experimentation, creativity, and community-driven design within VR environments.

2. Platform and Access

FolderX games are launched and authenticated through third-party VR platforms (such as Meta Quest). FolderX does not operate an independent login or account system.

By using our Services, you also agree to comply with all applicable platform terms (e.g., Meta’s Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, and Community Standards).

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or older if required by your jurisdiction.
  
  

• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  
  

• Use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws.
  
  

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Community Contributions

FolderX welcomes community input, creative ideas, and participation in our development process. When you submit or share any ideas, assets, or content (“Contributions”) with FolderX, you agree that:

• FolderX may use, modify, reproduce, distribute, or adapt your Contributions for any project.
  
  

• You grant FolderX a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your Contributions within FolderX projects.
  
  

• You confirm that your Contributions are original and that you have the right to share them.
  
  

• FolderX is not obligated to provide compensation or credit, unless agreed to in writing.
  
  

FolderX maintains final creative control over all projects, including the right to alter or remove community-submitted content.

6. Ownership

All FolderX games, designs, artwork, and materials are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of FolderX or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal entertainment purposes only. You may not claim ownership, copy, sell, or publicly distribute any FolderX content.

7. Purchases and Virtual Items

If any FolderX games include in-game purchases or cosmetic content:

• All sales are final, unless required by law.
  
  

• Virtual items and currencies have no real-world value and cannot be traded or exchanged outside the game.
  
  

• FolderX may change or remove items, pricing, or systems at any time without liability.
  
  

8. Health and Safety

VR experiences may involve physical movement and sensory effects. Always play responsibly. Follow all Meta safety guidelines, stay aware of your surroundings, and take breaks as needed.

FolderX is not responsible for injury, discomfort, or property damage resulting from unsafe or improper use.

9. Updates and Availability

FolderX’s projects are experimental and evolving. Features, content, and systems may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

FolderX is not liable for any data loss, progress resets, or downtime resulting from updates, patches, or maintenance.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. FolderX makes no guarantees of uninterrupted access, bug-free performance, or permanent availability.

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FolderX and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or loss of access.
  
  

• FolderX’s total liability for any claim related to these Services shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the relevant content.
  
  

12. Termination

FolderX may suspend or terminate access to any game or service at its discretion, with or without notice. Termination does not affect FolderX’s rights to use previously submitted Contributions.

FolderX may modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on our official website and apply immediately upon publication. Continued use of our Services means you accept the updated Terms.
